The Brioche Lady Show #11: Medication Need To Know

If you have been following The Brioche Lady and I on Facebook, you will know that we took a month vacation with all our kids to France this past summer. We had such a great time with family and friends. I joked that we didn’t want to return home but my home mortgage demanded my return. My wife and I wanted to make sure that the trip was not only fun but educational in some way. My wife and I are a typical Hmong family. We value tradition and have many children by today’s standards. We were both fortunate enough to be raised in wonderful countries that gave us hopes, opportunities, and dreams. I was born in Laos but grew up here in the land of the free, the great USA. My better half was born and raised in lovely France. Most of our lives were about changing diapers, doing laundry, and keeping the dishes from piling too high (okay, it was mostly my wife while I was busy

Now that I have acknowledged & embraced my passion for baking, I usually bake once a week for my children and husband. Initially, I baked for my family & during special occasions but eventually this expanded beyond family and friends. As a result of that, I started to notice that others had positive comments about my brioche outside of my husband and children. I find it difficult to completely believe my husband because I wondered if he just wanted me to bake (because he likes to eat pastries)

Today is a special day. It is the day that I am publishing my first website, my first blog post, and it is my birthday. I want to share this special day with you, my present and future brioche fans.
